Communities of faith that are affirming have officially or publicly declared that people of all sexual orientations and/or gender identities are welcome in the full life and ministry (membership and leadership) of the local faith community.  In some cases, communities of faith listed below may be at odds with the official stance of their respective national organization on the matter of gay marriage or LGBTQ inclusion in leadership.
